Hyperbole

I wrote this poem as almost all the poems are Hyperbolic and its been a part of poetry writing. The same way even in our lives we love everything to be Extravagant and wish to live larger than life.

Hyperbole

I always write how I feel
Love, nature and everything which appeal.
Those are unreal but true,
Always pleasant in its real blue.
Life’s a hyperbole, we always want it!
The hyperbole, we all love it!

Not just a device for my poems
It’s a play from the soul’s joint.
No one likes a straight way,
I make it walk on a litotes bay.
Life’s a hyperbole, we always want it!
The hyperbole, we all love it.

The mirror used by the words
Which renders wizards into lovebirds.
The core in the life’s ode,
A grand décor without a code.
Life’s a hyperbole, we always want it!
The hyperbole, we all love it.

poem ii & iii

My second and third poem is also based on the same theme. Feelings of a young man trying to realize the cunning game of LOVE.

poem-ii 20th July 2009
Did I Begin?

When did I begin?
To lend my soul to you,
For my soul was always searching for you.
May be now it has found its missing part,
And is fertile to nourish the seed of love
To a tree, a giant eternal tree!

How do I begin?
To express my love to you,
For I’m always afraid to lose you.
May be you should understand the silence
And every soundless words of my soul,
To make a song, a silent eternal song.

What did I begin?
To believe my life was you,
For I was in an illusion I never knew.
May be my soul was a fool
And so it was in the darkness
To dream, a short lived dream!

poem-iii 31st Aug 2009
I waited for so long

I saw you young playing outside
A lightning made me numb
And I didn’t know what to do
I thought you’re the one
I waited for so long to say I love you…

I spoke to you and heard your voice
An arrow struck my heart
And I believed the cupid was in mood
I thought you’re the one
I waited for so long to say I love you…

I met you on a Sunday evening for your sake
A day it rained heavily
And I was all drenched in the rain
I thought you’re the one
I waited for so long to say I love you...

I finally learnt you don’t love me
A dream shattered by bitter truth
And I realized it’s a foolish game
As I had thought you were the one
I waited and waited to say I love you…

To sugar, forever...

This is my first poem which is a sonnet?! Though its a poem of fourteen lines I haven't tried to follow any rules of sonnet (I din't know), but still it has a little bit of rhyme scheme in it! but most importantly it conveys the fresh feelings!!

To sugar, forever...

I never knew the sweetness of sugar
Until it dissolved in my heart;
My heart started pumping thy sweetness,
But finally busted for no fault.
Why didn’t I declare my love to thee?
For fear of rejection is a curse to me?
If I'm a dumb and thou art deaf?!
It was alright for love is blind,
But now it's my heart the real handicap,
Which suppressed passionately for thee.
Love was a sweet poison to me,
Which never killed, but became immortal!
But still thou art whose, Sweetness? My sugar;
As long there's sweetness, thou art a Sugar!

03 July, 2009

I have been inspired to write this after reading my friend’s,
Sonnet - 0.3 (- - -To Sugar).
She is the sole reason for me to write poems.

These are the feelings of a calm and shy man in love with a girl and is rejected for expressing his love too late as she’s already in love with another guy.

Introduction

I never knew there was a poet in me until the touch of love awakened him. Here I'm trying to blend the Sound with the Words. I have plans to compose Music for all my Poems.

WELCOME to my world of MUSICAL POEMS, the sound and words of my soul...
